Three days before Christmas I went to Paris for some christmas shopping! I’ve been to Paris before, but never around christmas time. It was such a magical environment. All streets and stores were decorated with christmas lights and we’ve been to a lot of christmas stalls. Our hotel was around the corner of the huge awesome store “Galeries Lafayette” that has the most amazing christmas windows. Too bad I haven’t taken photos of it. They also have the largest shoe department in the world. 34,000 square feet full of woman’s shoes.. they cover more than 150 brands! Still wonder how it’s possible that I didn’t find the boots I wanted. ;-)
Left: An old antique store, right: appartements in the centre of Paris. They’re all so beautiful! Love the details of the balcony.
“Rue St. Honoré” is one of my favorite streets in Paris. It’s such a luxurious and fashionable street in the centre of Paris. Here you find all kinds of stores, from ZARA to Chanel. When you visit St Honoré make sure to check out Colette. It’s a lovely boutique with amazing stuff.
Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Jardin des Tuileries & the Eiffeltower sparkling at night!
The Eiffeltower! This photo doesn’t do it justice. It’s soooo huge!
Crêpe. I bet no one in the world can make such delicious Crêpes as they do in Paris. I love une Crêpe naturel avec sucre. :-)
Too bad I haven’t took more photos. It was such a magical experience to be there with Christmas. I wanted that for years! And finally it came true <3 I’ll be going to Paris again in April/May and I’ll make sure to take a lot pictures. Let me know if you have any recommendations!

One of my favorites cities!
Eat at Le Chemise (42 rue de Malte, you will have to book a table), take a stroll through le Marais (and drink a coffee at centre danse le marais). Don’t go to the Crazy Horse. Since you are a gamer you might want to contact NoLife and drop by their studio. Their CEO is a super nice guy and you might enjoy that.
If you have questions drop me a mail before going there!
I’m going to Paris in a couple of weeks so I’m glad I popped over to your blog just in time for this lovely post :) I’ve only been once before so I’m really excited about revisiting it. The only place I can recommend off the top of my head is the wonderful bookshop Shakespeare and Co but I’ll be sure to pop back with more recommendations after my trip. PS: Beautiful pics!
